Why a THU- cheek riser for your gun?
Cheek support on the stock is crucial for long-range shooting as well as during driven hunts. When the riser is properly adjusted for the user, the sight picture is correct from the moment the firearm is raised. This eliminates unnecessary head movement and position adjustment. Cheek support is an essential anchor point in shooting, in addition to the shoulder and the non-firing hand.
THU cheek risers provide ample adjustment range, making them suitable for use with older firearms that were originally designed for open sights, such as the Sako p54 small-caliber rifle seen in the pictures.
THU cheek risers do not detach from the edges due to use or humid conditions, unlike adhesive or silicone risers.
They also do not trap moisture in the stock, as neoprene, leather, or fabric risers do when they get wet, thanks to their open design, allowing the rifle stock to breathe.
Modern scopes have larger bodies and large objective lenses, so many rifles may require taller scope mounts. This raises the line of sight, and it may be necessary to lift the head almost off the rifle stock. This reduces accuracy, but the situation can be rectified with an adjustable cheek riser.
Risers can also be customized to the customer's preferences by specifying the desired height increase and other requirements for the riser.
Detailed installation instructions are included with the order. However, if you prefer, we can install the riser on your firearm stock. In this case, you would only need to send us the stock.
The THU cheek riser features a secure, tool-free attachment for adjustments. The scale on the side of the riser aids in setting it to the correct position for each user. When cleaning the firearm, it's easy to return the riser to the same setting
